WHAT IS REMOTE ONLINE NOTARY?
Remote online notarization, or “RON” as it is commonly called, is a Virtual (online notary service) where documents can be electronically signed and notarized online during an Audio/Video session using your webcam and microphone.  Only a specially trained and certified by the Secretary of Florida State can perform online notary public services in Florida.

STEPS
1. Schedule your appointment
2. You will receive a link to verify your identification and prepare your document for your signing session
3. Credential Analysis:
a) The signer will then go through an automated process in order to verify the information presented on the ID, after uploading your ID document.
b) Knowledge Based Authentication: The signer will then answer a series of computer generated questions. These are questions only you the signer can reasonably be expected to know.
4. Once your identity is verified, you will receive a link to follow to meet your notary via webcam and electronically sing your document.
5. When your session is complete, you will instantly receive an e-mail containing the notarized document set.
6. The entire session will be recorded and saved as you and the notary public sign together.
